The JETOUR X70 1.5T model is equipped with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7DCT), which is an efficient and responsive automatic transmission system. Its working principle combines the mechanical efficiency of a manual transmission with the convenience of an automatic transmission.
The basic structure of a dual-clutch transmission
- ** Dual clutch module ** :
It is composed of two independent clutches (Clutch K1 and K2), which respectively control the gear sets of odd gears (1, 3, 5, 7) and even gears (2, 4, 6). The clutch is immersed in transmission fluid and dissipates heat and lubricates through the fluid (wet design).
- ** Two sets of input axes ** :
- ** Solid shaft ** : Connect clutch K1 to drive odd-speed gears.
- ** Hollow shaft ** : It is sleeved on the outside of the solid shaft, connected to clutch K2, and drives the even-gear.
- ** Synchronizer and shift mechanism ** : Gear shifting is controlled through an electro-hydraulic system.
