Assemble and repair Mitsubishi gearboxes
At our workshop, we follow a systematic and professional approach to ensure every transmission is rebuilt to OEM standards. Here’s how we do it:
Step 1: Disassembly
We carefully disassemble the transmission, inspecting each component for wear or damage.
All parts are cataloged to ensure proper reassembly.
Step 2: Removal of Faulty Parts
Worn or damaged components (e.g., clutches, seals, solenoids) are identified and removed.
Critical parts (e.g., planetary gears, valve bodies) are checked for defects.
Step 3: Cleaning & Inspection
Good components are thoroughly cleaned using specialized solvents and ultrasonic methods.
Each part is inspected for hidden damage (cracks, scoring, or warping).
Step 4: Replacement of Wear Items
High-friction components (clutch packs, seals, gaskets) are replaced with OEM or high-quality aftermarket parts.
Bearings, bushings, and thrust washers are renewed to prevent premature failure.
Step 5: Component Testing
Solenoids, sensors, and valves are electronically tested for proper function.
Hydraulic circuits are checked for leaks or blockages.
Step 6: Case Refinishing (Blasting & Resealing)
The transmission case is sandblasted to remove old sealant and debris.
New sealing surfaces are prepped to prevent leaks.
Step 7: Precision Reassembly
All components are reassembled with exact torque specs and proper lubrication.
The transmission is bench-tested (if possible) before installation.
Final Step: Quality Control & Testing
After installation, we perform road tests to verify smooth shifting and proper operation.
Any necessary TCM adaptations or resets are completed.
